Wednesday, July 19, 2017. PGTV has reported on more than a couple of instances in which roads linking communities in rural Toledo have collapsed.
Tonight there is one more to report.
This time it is on the road to San Vicente.
According to reports received, the huge hole in the road appeared this week and has been preventing motorists, especially buses to from traversing the area as the shoulder of the road is not too stable.
The collapse in the road happened where a small culvert is located.
Chairman of San Vicente village Sebastian Cab is appealing to the relevant authorities, including the Ministry of Work for assistance as without the road being fixed, the bus cannot go all the way to the village and commuters, including pregnant women have to walk a good distance to catch public transportation.
